The PowerXL DG1 has the functionality to control a system of multiple drives and motors to allow for redundancy and staging of motors to meet varying output requirements.
The PowerXL DG1 is able to operate a redundant drive scheme with two drives connected to provide a secondary drive as a back-up.
This application note is designed to provide an overview of why impedance on the line side of a drive is beneficial in adjustable frequency drives and compares the expected performance of line reactors and DC link chokes.
