The sensing range of the standard diffuse reflective type fiber is about 1.6 times longer than that of a conventional product. This adds extra flexibility to the sensor layout.

Simple Threshold Adjustment

The FX-551 Series can easily setup with just a few clicks of the teach button. Threshold can also be easily adjusted while in operation allowing for quick fine tuning of the sensor.

Ambient Light Compensation Function

If the sensor is around bright ambient light the compensation function can be set up to help avoid interference from stray lighting.
