The extra-long sensing distance makes it possible to address size-limited applications with smaller form factor sensors. Longer sensing distance enables one size smaller sensor with the same sensing distance, so you can add more sensors to your process saving space and improving reliability


The previous M12 shielded model had 3mm of sensing distance, the new E2E-NEXT M12 shielded model, with 4X increased range, has 9mm of sensing distance!



High-brightness LED's provide 360 degree indication visibility regardless of sensor orientation. 

E2E NEXT series Proximity Sensors
use PVC cables with enhanced oil resistance,
and have been evaluated according to IP67G. This high-resistance to cutting oils reduces sensor failures by approx. 30%


Sensor downsize using your existing bracket

The 'Quick Fix' mounting adapter makes the transition using the existing mounting bracket designed for a larger sensor to a smaller E2E NEXT sensor, with longer sensing distance, fast and easy to get you back on-line - while increasing sensing reliability

When you tried to increase the sensing distance of proximity sensors by conventional technologies, the change of ambient temperature greatly influenced and it was impossible to use those sensors at actual production sites. The newly developed technology by OMRON, “Thermal Noise Free” technology, minimizes the characteristics change due to temperature by high-precision compensation and enables long-distance detection.
