Midwest Marketing Specialist

Des Moines, IA

Q. What is your Title?
A. Midwest Marketing Specialist

Q. How long have you been with Ramco?
A. Although I feel like I’ve been with Ramco much longer, in all actuality I’ve been with Ramco for 1 year and 3 months!

Q. What is your favorite food?
A. This is a super hard question to answer because I love food! Well, I love delicious food. For example, I LOVE my dad’s potato salad, it’s a requirement at all family gatherings in the summer. Wasabi Chi in Des Moines has the BEST Sushi ever; period. Eatery A makes delicious, crazy ingredient pizzas. I’m almost always up for Chinese or Mexican, and I’m going to stop right here because I could go on forever.

Q. What is your favorite book?
A. Oh man! This question is harder than the food question! I am a giant book worm, so this is nearly impossible. I’m going to cheat slightly and name my favorite series, “Harry Potter“. J.K. Rowling is a Billionaire because she did an outstanding job of creating an entirely new world in which you can become completely immersed. I’ve read all of the books at least three times, and find that I discover new underlying plots and aspects of the story each time I read them. Yes, I’m a big nerd.

Q. What is your favorite movie?
A. This one is easy. “Top Gun”

Q. What is the song that always makes you happy?
A. There are three. “Don’t be Cruel” by Elvis Presley, “Tutti Frutti” by Little Richard, and “Billie Jean” by Michael Jackson. All three of them have a fun beat and instantly make me want to dance, which makes me happy.

Q. What is a fun fact about yourself?
A. I am an avid seamstress. Sewing was a passion my Grandma Shepard’s, and she passed it along to me; it’s one of the greatest gifts she could have given me. I design the patterns and make evening and cocktail dresses, bridesmaid’s dresses, flower girl dresses, and the list goes on. Once my niece was born, it was a necessity to add hair bows, tutus, and all things little girl to my repertoire. It’s a fun and creative hobby, and just makes me happy! Oh, and I’ve ended up with a fantastic wardrobe over the years because of it! 🙂
