Q. What is your Title?
A. Officially, I’m an “Inside Sales Representative” but I like to think of myself as more of an “Ambassador of Enthusiasm!” I try to make every day a little more fun and insert a little spunk whenever possible! Life is short, so I really try to enjoy it.

Q. How long have you been with Ramco?
A. I started in May of 2013, but I feel like I’ve been part of the Ramco “family” since forever. It really is such a fun and supportive environment that even from day one, I just knew this was where I wanted to be!

Q. What is your favorite food?
A. Is this a trick question? How could I possibly pick a favorite! I love to cook, eat, dine out, etc… You name it, anything involving food and I’m in! My current fav is BBQ. Most people around the country wouldn’t peg Des Moines as a hot spot for BBQ but we’ve really got some delicious options here!

Q. What is your favorite book?
A. I had a baby girl in October name Margaret Mary. She’s the light of my life, but tends to hinder any free time for such activities. When I do get a chance to sit down with a book, it’s usually something non-fiction. I’m a sucker for biographies and history as well as self-help and motivational type books.

Q. What is your favorite movie?
A. My top 5 (in no particular order) include
Rudy (I bleed blue and gold – GO IRISH!!)
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
Stranger than Fiction
Shawshank Redemption
Casino (and pretty much any and all gangster movies!)

Q. What is a fun fact about yourself?
A. Maybe not so much a fun fact, but an important one I like to share when possible is that I lost my little brother Joseph, after a long battle with addiction and mental illness, to suicide in April of 2014. I take the opportunity to advocate for awareness whenever I can. We have an uphill battle in this country to provide more affordable and more effective treatment options for those suffering from mental diseases and addiction, often in combination with each other. Making these topics less taboo and creating awareness is the best place to start.

Q. What is the song that always makes you happy?
A. I come from a musical family. My brother was a really talented drummer and I love to sing. We got to perform together at my wedding reception, which was pretty cool! I like almost all genres of music from classical to rap to rock and roll. My current jam is “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars. My husband Tony, cringes as soon as it comes on the radio, my car dancing can get pretty theatrical!
