Heaters

Watlow has developed a line of process air heaters that offer performance and versatility in medium to low-temperature applications. This rugged and reliable line of industrial heaters efficiently conducts heat.
Air heaters can be used to prevent freezing and condensation in electrical and mechanical housing or can be placed in ducts for forced-air heating.

Watlow's immersion heaters are designed primarily for direct immersion in liquids
Watlow's immersion heaters are designed primarily for direct immersion in liquids such as water, oils, solvents and process solutions.

These compact heating systems are ideal for fluid and gas applications such as purified and inert gases, supercritical fluids, and liquids like de-ionized water.

Fluid delivery heaters produce consistent results by reducing temperature and viscosity variations.

The ASPYRE Power Controller Family is flexible and scalable and available with a variety of options allowing one platform to be re-used across a wide range of applications, which can help save time and money. ASPYRE models available include sizes from 35 to 700 amps.
This power controller family features multiple advanced microprocessor-based firing and control mode algorithms. Combined with diagnostics and several communications options the product enables equipment and factory automation.
Controller firing modes include zero cross, burst firing, single cycle, delayed triggering, and phase angle. These smart algorithms enable the product to easily control a wide base of heater loads including Nichrome®, moly, silicon carbide, tungsten quartz, and infrared lamps, and transformer-coupled loads. ASPYRE offers a comprehensive list of modular options that deliver space and labor savings including controlled legs (1, 2, or 3), semiconductor fusing, load current measurement, amperage size, and user interface.

The WATCONNECT standard control panels are quickly configured to your specific application requirements and delivered expeditiously. WATCONNECT panels integrate Watlow’s high-quality heater, sensor, temperature controller and power controller products for a complete thermal solution. Normally, competitive custom panels require significantly longer lead times. The broad range of standard features allow customers to quickly configure panels that usually would be considered custom.
Watlow’s Sensors, Wire and Cable
A wide variety of temperature sensors including thermocouples, resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), wire, mineral insulated cable, connectors and hardware.

These sensors are suited for applications where accuracy and stability are essential for proper control in applications that operate at or below 1200°F (650C).

Thermocouples are best suited for high temperatures, extreme environments or applications requiring microscopic size sensors.

SERV-RITE® wire is used for connecting a sensor to an instrument or controller. Insulation temperature ranges from -328 to 2350°F (-200 to 1290°C).
